Our payment terms are straightforward.
Upon receipt of your order, we will inform you of the delivery cost and time, and confirm the total amount payable.
On orders of:
Under £3500 we require payment by credit card or cheque with order. You can use our online Worldpay or Paypal Secure Card Processing either in the online shop or we can email you a Paypal payment request. We can also ring you if you prefer and obtain credit card details over the phone. You are welcome to download our order form and send in your details by post
Over £3500 to £10000 we require either full payment or at our discretion a deposit of 50% as above, with the balance prior to dispatch.
Over £10000 we will set out the payment schedule in a letter to you
Trade Discounts for bona-fide Third Party suppliers
Japangarden are pleased to offer discounts on paid orders to bona-fide third party suppliers such as interior designers, landscape architects and other trade customers.
In general discounts are available for initial orders exceeding £500 net

VAT is included at the STANDARD UK RATE in our website prices. Books are ZERO RATED. VAT is chargeable at the FULL UK rate to EC customers who cannot provide a VAT registration number for their own country. VAT is not chargeable to BFPO numbers, Channel Islands, and to countries outside EC.
Zero Rated EC Exports
VAT will only be Zero Rated on the relevant exports upon receipt of a faxed or scanned valid VAT registration certificate.
Import Tariffs and Taxes
Any tariff, tax or import duty payable for EC or non-EC deliveries and transactions is the full responsibility of the purchaser and NOT Japangarden.co.uk.
