Basho Futon Roll - A traditional sleeping experience and 2 Standard 6ft x 3ft Tatami Mats
Our most authentic and popular futon, with the special offer of 2 traditional sleeping mats giving you an area of 6ft x 6 ft in tatami

Use the futon for sleeping, roll up in the day and use the tatami area as a raised meditation or relaxing area with cushions

3 layers of woolfelt in a 100% cotton calico case. Used by a few as a permanent bed system on the floor or a flat surface such as tatami mats, used by many as extra bedding. Rolls up, using straps and easily stows away. Hugely popular. Also used on top of another futon for extra comfort.

Many are purchased for use in Shiatsu.
The approximate depth of the Monk futons is 2" (5cm).
