Ideal ground cover around Japanese ornaments. The larger 14mm size is ideal for raked zen gardens as it is less likely to be moved by wind or rain. Blend 6 and 14mm together naturally and complement this with our range of larger granite rocks and boulders Choose 6 or 14mm. The name is not descriptive of the type of stone or location.

The 14 mm granite gravel can be supplied in 20kg sacks can be carried or barrowed easily into place.

1 tonne of Aggregate laid at an approximate depth of 40mm will cover approximately 14-15 square metres. 1.6 tonnes = 1 cubic metre.

If ordering a mix, you will get half of the quantity as 6mm, half of the quantity as 11-14mm - its not mixed in the bags.

We recommend minimum depth of 25mm for general spreading, and if to be raked into a pattern at least minimum depth of about 75mm. TIP : Use in conjuction with weed suppressant membranes.
