Nokogiri - Folding Saw and Double Holster
Okatsune's folding saw, like all Japanese saws, cuts on the pull stroke. How does that help you? On the pull stroke the blade is in tension, so won't bow. This means the blade can be thinner, which means a thinner kerf (the cut in the wood), which means less effort, and a cleaner cut. The 7" blade glides through wood, and folded, it's small enough to carry with you in the garden, especially if it lives in the Double Holster along with the secateurs- the ultimate pruning kit.
