Shoji paper can be used in Shoji screens inside and outside Japanese homes and tea houses, used extensively for covering lighting fixtures, and can also be used to fabricate lantern windows for granite lanterns in the garden ( as preferred in Japan) instead of using opaque acrylic sheet.
