The in-lite BIG SCOPE NARROW is particularly interesting for Japanese gardens because its concentrated beam allows light to be directed towards a specific feature. It is well suited to tall Japanese maples, pines, mature specimen trees and architectural forms where a broad wash of light would be excessive. The narrow beam encourages a more deliberate lighting approach, highlighting the structure of a tree while leaving surrounding areas in shadow. This can be especially effective when the garden is viewed from a house or seating area, where controlling glare and spill light is important. The fitting uses the in-lite 12V system and connects through EASY-LOCK. It should be used selectively as part of a carefully planned lighting scheme.
