How the calculation works

We use an approximate coverage of 8 square metres from one 800 kg bulk bag at a depth of 6 cm. The calculator adjusts this coverage automatically when you enter a different depth. The 20 kg polybag figure is calculated from the same gravel quantity.

Please note: Gravel quantities are approximate. Actual requirements can vary depending on the shape and preparation of the area, the underlying surface and the final depth of gravel. We recommend allowing a small additional quantity where the area is irregular or the required depth needs to be maintained precisely.
