The in-lite SUB is designed for discreet illumination of water features and can be considered for ponds, streams, waterfalls and smaller Japanese garden water installations. Rather than illuminating an entire body of water, a small underwater spotlight can be positioned to reveal movement, reflections or the texture of a stone and falling water. Its compact form makes it suitable where a conventional above-ground fitting would be visually intrusive. The SUB forms part of the in-lite low-voltage lighting system and connects using the EASY-LOCK system. For Japanese gardens, the warm-white version is particularly appropriate, helping the water remain a subtle part of the evening composition rather than becoming a brightly illuminated feature.
