Planting and Path Lighting

in-lite Landscape Lighting

The in-lite range provides discreet, low-voltage lighting for trees, planting, paths, stones and water features. We show representative products here for interest; contact us to discuss your particular garden and application in depth.

Representative products

The products shown below are a selection from the wider in-lite range. They are intended to illustrate the types of lighting that can be used within a Japanese garden rather than represent a complete catalogue.

Every garden is different. The size and character of the garden, planting, stonework, water features, paths and intended viewing areas will all influence the choice and positioning of lighting.

We can discuss your requirements with you and help identify suitable products and approaches for your particular application.

Discuss your lighting requirements

If you are considering lighting for an existing Japanese garden, a new garden or an individual feature, please contact us. We can discuss the garden with you and consider the most appropriate lighting approach for the particular application.

A considered approach to garden lighting

Japanese garden lighting is most successful when it is subtle and carefully positioned. Rather than illuminating everything, we prefer to identify the features that should be revealed after dark and allow areas of the garden to remain in shadow.

This might mean lighting a Japanese maple, picking out the texture of a stone, revealing a path through planting or gently illuminating moving water.

The aim is to enhance the garden after dark without making the lighting itself the dominant feature.
