Pondless Waterfall System ASK3080 — 8m Stream

The Aquascape Professional Pondless Waterfall Kit ASK3080 is the largest of the four Professional Pondless Waterfall Kits offered through Landscapeplus and is intended for a more substantial watercourse of approximately 8 metres.
At this scale, the water feature can become an important structural element within the garden. The additional length allows the stream to meander through the landscape, incorporating several changes in level and character rather than presenting as a single continuous cascade.
For a Japanese garden, the longer watercourse can be particularly effective when its route is not immediately revealed from the principal viewing position. A glimpse of moving water between rocks and planting can lead the eye through the garden, while larger stones can establish the principal falls and smaller gravel and planting can soften the margins.
The ASK3080 retains the same fundamental pondless principle used throughout the range. Water is collected in a concealed underground reservoir constructed using AquaBlox and pond liner, pumped through the system to the upper Waterfall Spillway and allowed to return naturally through the stream to the reservoir. The kit includes the principal system components, including liner, protective underlay, AquaBlox, pump vault, waterfall spillway, EcoWave pump, Dual Union Check Valve 2.0, flexible PVC pipework and connection materials. Waterfall foam and silicone sealant are supplied for constructing and sealing the watercourse, while the SL dosing system and treatment provide the water-treatment element of the package. Position within the range: ASK3080 is the largest system, following the ASK3000 No Stream, ASK3020 2m Stream and ASK3050 5m Stream. It should be considered where the garden has the physical length, width and fall to make a longer watercourse convincing rather than simply choosing the largest kit available.
