This shoji paper is tear-resistant, made by sandwiching a soft film between layers of washi paper.
It is approximately four times stronger than the average strength of multiple sheets of newspaper (77kPa, according to our research).
Unlike conventional plastic (film on the surface) shoji paper, it is made of washi paper on both sides, so it can be attached with either glue or double-sided tape.

A unique "hand-kneaded washi paper" born from meticulous handiwork
This is a masterpiece that is completely handmade by artisans.
The process of carefully kneading each large sheet of washi paper requires precise control of force and is extremely time-consuming.
The washi paper, kneaded slowly over time, is characterized by a "lively texture" and soft feel that cannot be found in machine-made paper.

   Please note
 
* Due to its structure of shoji paper laminated onto a plastic film, it has a strong tendency to curl. Before applying, we recommend re-rolling it in the opposite direction to reduce the curl.
* This product uses film and may cause condensation. Please refrain from using it in places with high temperature and humidity.
* If attached with double-sided tape, do not spray with water.
