This compact marble fountain has a very different character from conventional granite water features. Each boulder has its own pattern of dark and light veining, while the shallow dished top allows water to gather before flowing over the smooth polished edges.

Its relatively compact size makes it particularly suitable for courtyards and smaller Japanese gardens, where the natural pattern of the marble can provide the visual focus without requiring a large installation.

The polished stone catches the changing light and gives the water a particularly reflective quality.
