The 250 mm core is the most ambitious intervention and requires a suitably large, structurally sound boulder. A large circular cavity can create a substantial natural basin capable of holding meaningful quantities of water. Rather than disguising the drilling, the clean circular opening becomes part of the design, contrasting with the irregular exterior of the glacial stone. The cavity could operate as a static water vessel, rain-filled basin or recirculating feature. The depth should be determined according to the stone's thickness and structural characteristics. Particularly effective when partially surrounded by gravel, moss or low planting, this could become a distinctive signature feature within the range.

Various sizes are costed - We shall provide an image of the stone for approval prior to drilling and confirm the cost.

The stone is delivered on pallet to hard standing and larger stones 800-1000mm will require machinery such as a forklift to position in your garden.
