A 150 mm core-drilled cavity provides considerably greater capacity and visual presence. Drilled into the upper surface of a suitably substantial boulder, it can create a deep water-holding vessel without introducing a conventional manufactured basin. The depth and diameter can be varied according to the individual stone, while maintaining adequate surrounding material. Water may be introduced naturally through rainfall or connected discreetly to a recirculating pump system. The broad circular opening contrasts particularly well with rough, irregular stone surfaces. Used beside stepping stones, gravel or planting, the Deep Water Stone could provide a highly restrained alternative to conventional Japanese water basins..

Various sizes are costed - We shall provide an image of the stone for approval prior to drilling and confirm the cost.

The stone is delivered on pallet to hard standing and larger stones 800-1000mm will require machinery such as a forklift to position in your garden.
