Naturally elongated and weathered by time, the Standing Water Stone creates a strong vertical presence within the Japanese garden. Each boulder is individually selected for its natural proportions, surface character, lichen and subtle variations in colour. A discreet 25 mm core-drilled bore through the stone allows water to emerge from the upper surface, creating a gentle, continuous flow down the contours of the stone.

The bore is drilled as a single straight passage from the water outlet towards the centre of the base, allowing concealed connection to a pump or water supply. Typically around 700–1200 mm high, each stone is entirely individual.

 

Various sizes are costed - We shall provide an image of the stone for approval prior to drilling and confirm the cost.

The stone is delivered on pallet to hard standing and larger stones 800-1000mm will require machinery such as a forklift to position in your garden.
